A trick is another way of reading and interpreting reality; it is another way of presenting it by turning it upside down and creating confusion. The world of the trick is a mirrored world; in many tricks, a mirror or the surface of water is used as a means of deception. The name of the German trickster "Till" means: the mirror. It is a surreal world, with its own logic and absurdity, its laws and rulings—its face is in its back and its head is on its heels. It is a different kind of wonder, the guise of daily life through a flickering lens, oscillating between dream and reason, between existence and wandering.
